I'm going to a movie at 4 p.m. on a Tuesday. Vacation rawks, ya'll. P.S. Whenever anyone says "ya'll" (and really, it's not as much as you'd think), it reminds me of my Latin class. Yes, I said Latin. When we'd conjugate verbs, the teacher told us to use ya'll to differentiate "you singular" from "you plural." So it went kinda like this:
SumSumus
EsEstes
EstSunt
Which means:
I amWe are
You areYa'll are
He/she/it isThey are
Sometimes, out of nowhere, that little chant comes back to me. Sum es est, Sumus estes sunt. And that's your Latin lesson for the day. *The bell rings to dismiss class*

w00t!

Blast from the past... I hadn't thought of Latin Class in ages :D

I was taught it in French, tho, so there was no possible confusion on singular and plural second person, but it was still such fun. Thanks for bringing it back!
