Cast of characters • David -- the one and only, the best husband I ever had. Er, and the only one. • Chloe -- our "first born." A calico with an attitude. She's 8 and hides whenever anyone comes over. Except we had a houseguest (Greg) for about two months and she didn't hide from him. It was the wackiest thing. • Jasper -- our constant source of aggravation, entertainment and a little cuddly bundle of love. Life wouldn't be the same without him. He's 5 and causes all kinds of trouble around here. • Chrissy & Tommy -- our bestest friends, known them since college • Abigail -- daughter of C&T, our goddaughter, she's 3 • Griffin -- son of C&T, our godson, he's 1 • Baby No. 3 -- unborn child of C&T, our godchild, due to join us in January • Mom -- um, yeah. That'll be my mom. She has a potty mouth. Also, she makes fantastic jewelry. • Dad -- again, kinda self explanatory. He's a biker and a contractor and does many fabulous things to our house. Like replacing the roof. Except he's building his own house now and doesn't have time to do anything here. Sigh. • Jeannie -- my sister, younger by 7 years. She works in veterinarian's offices and she'll show up at your house with baby animals hoping you'll keep them. That's how we got Stinky Man (aka Jasper). But we're very glad to have him. But that's ALL, Jeannie! NO MORE. • Erin -- my college roommate. We roomed together for two years and then I transferred to another school. • Nabbalicious -- my Vegas cohort. We met at work. She entertains me. And sometimes I make her laugh too. • Maliavale -- another work buddy, who has left us for (what we hope) are greener patures • Bucktoothedvarmint -- yet another work friend. Sometimes known as Titanium Tim. Random other mentions will probably go to • Axboy -- our weirdo neighbor. Right after he moved in, I came home one day to find him trying to chop down a pretty sizable tree with an ax. He hit at it a couple times, then backed off. But it was pretty close to our house and I was pretty sure that if he kept chopping at it, that tree would have fallen into our bedroom.
