people keep trying to convince me to try spinning. I'm nervous that it will make my butt hurt. thanks for confirming that it will!

Oh please! I USED THE PADDED SEAT!

It's pretty sad when you're just hoping and hoping that the intructor tells you to stand (and pedal at the same time, of course). But hey, at least it gives your backside a break.

It's a really good workout though. My favorite part is that when she (cuz i haven't had a male instructor) says to turn it up a notch, I can barely inch it forward and no one really knows but me. So now one says, "HAHAHA! Look at the weakling!:

i just don't get that. i mean, why does the seat have to be SO uncomfortable?

i'm totally NOT wearing biking shorts. hahahaaha. i won't even wear regular shorts to the gym. pants only.

How could a bike saddle BE comfortable unless it was shaped like a chair?

I totally am not wearing biker shorts, either! especially padded ones -- I don't really need much help in that department, alas. (which is probably why I *should* go to spinning)
