While I was thinking of things I find creepy, I remembered something from when I was 4. I wanted to write it in my list, but realized it would sound totally insensitive and would need a lot of explanation. I was with my parents at my dad's boss's house, I think. And the man's mother, who had had a stroke, lived next door to them. She came over while we were there (or was brought over) and she couldn't talk, she just kind of pointed and moaned. I think she wanted me to come closer to her so she could say hi or something, but it was very scary for me at 4 and I ended up hiding in a closet until she was gone. That poor woman. I'm sure that made her feel terrible. I'm sorry, lady. Anyway, I still get a little scared when I encounter this. In fact, David's grandmother had a stroke when he was a teenager so when I met her, she did the same kind of thing. I have to admit that even as an adult, it still scared me a little.
