Hello 2001 We are officially now part of the 21st century as it pertains to phone technology. Yes, friends. We have cell phones. Now when I get separated from Nabbalicious at a shopping mall in Vegas, I won't have to walk back to the hotel and call her from there to see where she is. And if David goes out to get something, and I remember that there's something I forgot to tell him to get, a couple of number punches and viola, I've got him. Now I keep waiting for the dumb thing to ring. Only it hardly ever does. Which should be fine considering I hate talking on the phone. It was a pretty busy weekend, which is why I haven't posted in a few days. That and, well... I just haven't wanted to sit at the computer. But here I am. Mostly because Nabbalicious just posted a comment asking where the freaking update is. So thank her for sponsoring this entry. Speaking of Nabbalicous... we met Mailavale in Baltimore this weekend to see Ben Lee and Aimee Mann. Ben was fabulous as always. I don't know much about Aimee Mann, but I enjoyed the show. During the first couple of songs, I couldn't really hear her voice though. I felt like the band was drowning her out. But that seemed to diminish after a while. On the drive home, I told Nabbalicious that we always seem to do things where we're either leaving home or getting home at very odd hours. Once we went to Vegas and we had to race Hurrican Isabel, so we had to switch airports and we left town at like 2 a.m. to make sure we were at the airport in time for the early morning flight. We made it out. I think we got home from that trip really late at night too. And Saturday/Sunday morning, we got home at like 3:30 a.m. But that was fine because I had my phone in case anything happened.
