The recap To recap the week, I watched a TON of television and both our cats had teeth cleanings and their nails clipped. The funny this about this is how they act at the vet. Jasper, the love at home, is a holy terror. He has a "will bite" sticker. When we went to pick him up, we could hear him screaming in the back. The doctor came out and said, "Yeah. He's coming out of the anesthesia JUST fine." hahaha. Chloe, the standoffish one, behaves immaculately while she's there and it's noted in her file. "Sweet demeanor." HA! If they only knew. Actually, she has mellowed with age and is almost no longer worthy of the nickname Monster. But sometimes, the old Chloe Monster shows through. I hate taking them to the vet and worry that when we leave them there that they'll think we don't love them anymore. SAD. But they both did fine. When Jas came home, he hid under the bed as if to say "I am SO mad at you!" That lasted maybe half the day after he came home. When Chloe got home, her attitude was "HEY! I'm SO GLAD TO BE HOME." They're both back to normal and have lost the smell of the vet's office. I'm SO happy about that.
