House of cards
You know how sometimes something looks great on the outside, but on the inside, the perfect image just falls apart? Me too. It happened when we saw the inside of a house today. The outside was immaculate. The landscaping was beautiful. The color of the house and all the flowers in the yard... perfect. But when the door swung open, I knew the love affair was over. The kitchen was really dark as were the cabinets. And there were not many of those. The owners had huge furniture, and a lot of it, which contributed to the feeling that the house was smaller than ours instead of bigger. (It's a little bigger) You couldn't even open some of the doors all the way. But really, the inside just didn't live up to the outside. David said we could just live outside.
Since we're not moving, I guess I should get used to the new neighbor who liked to rev his orange Camero or whatever it is. He's doing it RIGHT NOW.
We're taking ourselves off the market. Not that we were on the market in the first place. It's better this way. I know it is.
