30 going on 106
Last week was a pretty big gym week. I went Monday-Wednesday, skipped Thursday and Friday, but did Habitat for Humanity on Saturday and a two-hour walking tour on Sunday.
I'd been having a little pain in my left hip, which I didn't think too much of really. Sometimes when I'd get up from my desk at work, I wouldn't be able to put my weight on that leg, so I'd wait a minute and then keep on going. Sunday night it got a little worse. I stood up from the couch and couldn't really take step without holding onto something. I hobbled upstairs, took a couple of Advil and went to bed. It still hurt when I woke up the next morning.
I figured I had a kink and would go spend some time on the elliptical and/or the bike to see how that goes. But. Perhaps, I thought, I should call the doctor. So I did. And I made an appointment for after the gym. No problems at the gym, but I could still feel it. By that time I've figured that I did something to it in step class. The doc agrees. Now I'm taking lots of advil and not going to the gym. SIGH. Which makes me feel lazy.
Aren't I a little too young for hip troubles?

Don't worry - tonight Deeps told me we needed to stop at the drug store so he could get some "old man cream".
He means some Ben-Gay or Aspercream because apparently the whole move thing was too much for him.
Also - I'M TOTALLY 3 MONTHS OLDER THAN HE IS.
Just saying. Moisturize.
I WOULD NOT ANSWER!
