Dear J.K. Rowling, But... but... but... There better be some serious explaining in the seventh book. I just don't understand. I mean I get what happened, but I just did not see that coming. There has to be more to the story. Of course, I thought that at the end of the Order of the Phoenix too. But... Sigh.

Do you think Snape was a traitor?

I go back and forth. I think there has to be more to the story. Snape wouldn't let Harry do any unforgiveable curses, but a friend reminded me that J.K. was careful to tell us that if/when Dumbledore makes mistakes, they tend to be very very big ones.

It's funny to read this out of context.

my mom has a very long and complicated theory about Snape's role that seems to make sense. I shall email it to you tomorrow when I am bored so as not to accidentally spoil anything for anyone who wanders in here and hasn't read it.

yeah, I think there's more to it too. I mean, I don't think Dumbledore would have trusted Snape without reason.
