Put up your dukes, let's get down to it For a while now, I've been saying I'm going to write a book. And I started. But then we lost our hard drive. Don't be too sad. I hadn't written a whole lot. Just a page and a half or so. Then I started thinking more about the idea and trying to flesh it out in my head. You know... motivations and such. But I've been thinking about it for so long that I just can't get past that stage. So today I decided that I just need to write. It doesn't matter what comes out. It won't all be fit for human consumption and that's OK. The most important thing is to get the wheels turning. A funny thing happened when I actually sat down to write something. I've been working on this certain idea for a couple years, just letting it simmer. But today when I started typing, something entirely different came out. And I think that's just fine with me.
