We're accidental house hunters. David was looking at some listings our Realtors sent us and saw something that struck him. Last night when I got home from work, he said he'd driven by it and wanted me to also. So on the way home from the gym this morning, I did. The house is cute, but the back yard is full of mud and straw. Huh. Looks like they can't get grass to grow either. Go figure. We saw photos of the inside on the Web and the kitchen has barely any cabinets. I'd been looking for some kind of sign. First there was our hesitation about going to Hawaii this summer. We canceled the trip because it just didn't feel right. Sign to sell the house? Also, we're in the middle of refinancing our current house. We could just switch to getting a new mortgage instead. Sign to sell the house? When I pulled into the driveway last night, I noticed new gravel. I wondered what the hell was going on. David was home yesterday afternoon and some guys in a truck came by. They said they were working around the corner and had some gravel to spare, so they were driving around looking at driveways trying to see whose needed a little pepping up. Yes, ours did. It just wasn't on the top of my priority list. Anyway, they guys said they'd regravel the driveway and spread it out for $200. David said no thanks. Then they said $175. So David said OK. Now, I know nothing about how much gravel costs. So I don't know if that was a good deal or not. But it looks nice. Sign to sell the house? One more upkeep thing checked off the list. This morning the attorney's office called to schedule a closing on the refinancing. For next Friday. A sign to keep the house? Stay or sell? Stay or sell? Stay or sell?

You should sell the house before the guy next door puts his Camaro on blocks in the driveway. Because that might turn off potential buyers....

Gah!

HAHAHAHA!!

That's so funny because it's definitely the sort of car that would be on blocks. So far though it's his only source of transportation, so fingers crossed that he keeps it on the road. I'll try to snap a photo sometime. From behind the blinds of my bedroom window. Ha!
